I know on the iphones it has a little grille on the bottom. But on the Touch?

The speaker is recessed inside the headphone jack.

It is on the bottom near the connector opening.

It's really a piezo speaker.

You will notice the (brown rectangle) speaker being behind the lower region of the LCD, or near the dock connector on the logic board.

You mean that brown splash-looking thing? It doesn't look like s speaker.

So what is that black thing on the back (up the top) of the iPod touch? I always thought that was the speaker.
