hello, i hope this isn't a repeat thread, if it is, please excuse it.

i have a new airport express and i want to hook up my old pc desktop to print to a printer attached to the airport. my question is... is that possible? or do you need to be wirelessly connected to the airport in order to print?

if you can, how?

i have a lexmark and prints fine wirelessly via my pbook.

thanks

I don't think you can do this directly, but if you turn on Mac OS X Printer Sharing and Windows Sharing, and add the printer to the list of printers on your PC after doing so, as long as your PowerBook is turned on and not asleep, you should be able to print. I had problems getting Windows to recognize Mac shared printers myself, so I can't guarantee that this will work - it is the most logical solution, though.
