Hi,

Does anyone know if these parts can be switched out? I know the battery and dc in board cannot be (I don't think) but can the logic board, memory, hard drive, etc be switched? I can't get power in my powerbook and would like to test it with the logic board from my macbook pro. Any help is appreciated

Pretty darned unlikely:

Even the HDD interface is incompatible.

the two machines have very different architectures as well: PowerPC Vs Intel. Likely nothing in common at all.

might be able to swap out some keys on the older macbook pro with the powerbook, and MAYBE the superdrive, im not too sure about that... but thats probably it...

up until the unibody MBPs, they all used PATA interface super drives. so they will be interchangable.

apart from that, nothing else really. screen maybe?
