4870 / 4890 flashing question

Hi,

Instead of waiting for a possible 5870 Mac Edition, I was considering flashing a PC 4870 or 4890. I had been browsing through Cindori's first post in the 4870/4890 flashing thread (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=713428), and noticed that the cards shown in the pictures are becoming very hard to come by. None appear to be sold by Newegg anymore.

Is there a possibility that more ROM's would be created for some of the other 4870's/4890's that are still being sold?

dont just read first post, read latest pages

you'll see roms being uploaded for new cards almost every day

if you happen to get a new card, dump your rom in the thread and me or Peloche will modify it for you

Excuse me the uneducated question but does this mean that now any 4870/4890 can be used due to modified roms?
