If one needs to develop a very simple application in iphone [with proposed upload to app store] that does a login into twitter with posting/deleting messages. Fetching friends profiles, favorites list. Does it requires any kind of OAuth implementation. Though I know twitter api calls to do these tasks [login/post msg/delete msg etc] but still than I am confused on OAuth. Is it necessary? Does my app works without OAuth implementation?
I have also looked at the twitter site for api but I am still confused on the purpose of OAuth implementation
Any idea?
