It would be pretty damn funny if they didn't even mention a tablet at the event.

The way the build-up is going (and with the photo-proof I've provided), I'd say it's a pretty sure thing that a tablet will be introduced at the event.

The build-up feels the same as it did before the iPhone announcement.

That would be really funny. But the way it's going right now, with major newspapers, TV, radio media having huge articles about this elusive device, it will be a blow to Apple if they don't at least come up with a prototype.

If the device is debuted, I bet it will amaze a lot of people. But I bet it will also be like the iPhone announcement in 2007 where everything is amazing until they get to the price and release date.

"Starts at $999. Shipping July of 2010".
