I may soon be purchasing a dual 450 and I was just wondering if it is compatible with the airport extreme cards. Otherwise could I just get a wireless PCI card?

Not extreme, just the original Airport card.
Do they have PCI wireless cards that will work well in OS X yet?

Will the extreme work, only at a slower speed. Or won't it work at all?

Airport Extreme fits in a completely different port than normal Airport. It won't work at all.

These PCI cards are recognized natively as Airport Extreme cards, since they use the same Broadcom chipset.

Cool. I wish I knew that a year ago.
