Navigon app on the new apple tablet?!

Hopefully the apple tablet will have a strong, dedicated GPS chip and we will be able to have navigon ported to the new device. Bigger screen! This would be awesome if this were to happen.
 
Yeah, a 10" device mounted on the dashboard or windshield would really block too much of your vision to be safe. Some states don't allow anything, even small gps devices or cell phones for this very issue.

I agree it'd be great to have the gps on a bit bigger screen though!
 
I just strap a 27" iMac up on my dashboard and keep an eye on google maps. In streetview I don't even need to be able to see the road.

So your that guy i saw! 😱 GENIUS!! never thought of using my inverter for an iMac!! (this is where i would insert a $1.99 symbol for sarcasm).... lmao!

i'd love to use (whatever is coming out on wednesday) for a gps in the car.....

But if you use Augmented Reality, you can 'see through' the device and have maps/directions overlaid!
