Ok so I have been looking online and I have been looking for software to stream media to my PS3 there are three ones out there, Media Server, Media Link and Eyeconnect. Media Server is free and the other two you have to pay for. So here is my issue, I have been able to get my macbook to recognize the ps3 both for the media link and eye connect trials, but Media Server just won't recognize it. My ps3 is hooked up to a cable modem via ethernet and my macbook runs off my wireless and the media server connection is enabled on my ps3 so I don't know why it wouldn't pick it up. Anyone else out there have this problem?????? What can I do to get it to work. It picked the other ones up just fine, but how can I get this one to work. Please HELP ME!!!!!!!

Make sure UPNP is enabled on your router, and make sure the ps3 and your mac are on the same wifi local network. Make sure the ports necessary for the streaming are also not being used already, and not blocked by a firewall.
