The directer of photography and cinematographer of 24 has posted something interesting on his twitter. http://twitter.com/rodneykiwi/status/8243364709
He also seems to confirm the "iSlate" name.

Seems like he's just saying they want to if/when it's announced, not necessarily that they already have some deal inked.

Then why would they mention a specific episode. Beggars can't be choosers.

Because he knows when each episode is being filmed and that seemed like the most likely episode to get one into given when they are announcing the tablet and when it is rumored to be available?

Maybe he saying the 24 people will contact Apple and he's almost sure that it will happen.
