Should I just use my bose acoustic stereo for my computer sound or should I get some specific computer speakers(what brands?....top of the line?)?

For high end speakers, people tend to like the 5.1 THX-certified lines from Logitech and Klipsch, they include 5 satellites, 1 subwoofer, and a remote, and are over 400 (?) watts. Either will run you about $250-450 depending where you buy.

Klipsch is really good, but your Bose system should be really good.

5.1 might not work, depending on the system you have. Unless you have a G5 (optical output) you won't be able to get true 5.1.

bose isn't the best brand in the universe, but it's pretty good overall... so i'd say, since you already have a bose system, jack in and enjoy...
