I am having a problem with the audio out port on my Powerbook. When I plug in headphones or speakers it only goes to the right speaker. But when I am using the internal speakers they both play sound. I checked everything in system prefs and it seems fine. Any ideas?

Might be a hardware issue with the audio jack - your PB is new enough that it's undoubtedly under warranty. Just call Apple. If for some bizarre reason the audio-out balance is off, they'll tell you how to fix it. It sounds, though - and no pun intended - that one of the connections to the audio jack might be broken.

I was going to say check the Balance in the Audio system prefs' Output tab.
Also, make sure the jack is pushed in all the way?
Other than that, call Apple.
