If you're planning on getting an iPad, which existing iPhone apps do you really want their developers to port to iPad around the time it ships? Apps that would really benefit from the larger screen real estate?

Off the top of my head for me:
* Kindle
* Beejive
* ForeFlight
* NetNewsWire
* WebEx
* Touch Term
* An RDP client

I am wondering how exactly Apple is going to handle this. What I mean is that virtually no developers (except perhaps the big names) are going to have any actual devices to test on until they are available to the public. Apple might decide to delay the availability of 3rd party iPad apps in general until maybe a month or later after the device is released in order to allow proper testing.

Of course it is technically possible to develop and release a fine working app without an actual device, but it is not really something that a responsible developer would do.
