How do you get rid of the airport icon next to the clock?

I have an airport icon next to my clock, and when you click on it, it says, "No AirPort card installed"...

The main problem is AirPort doesn't show up in my nextwork configuration to check the box to say don't display the icon... anyone know how to get rid of it while not having an airport card?

Edit - 1,001 post... woot! Didn't realize I had that many...

If for some reason you want to turn it back on, you can do it in Internet Connect, or the Network prefs.

That is neat ... you can move the icons around, too!
