Wait three weeks before opening ticket regarding yellow tinge?

I have an i5 27" with the yellow tinge problem. I've read that Apple will be better able to repair this problem in about three weeks. Do you think it is best to open a ticket with them now or just wait for about 3-4 weeks?

I went ahead and opened a case. The guy was real nice and referenced some internal Apple documentation about the issue, took my info, and said Apple would contact me in about 3 weeks.
