Hi this is an odd question but here it goes...

Right now I am 15 year old student in the tenth grade, and like most people here a avid OSX user. But the thing is is that I am in a wheelchair and am homebound from school for the foreseeable future do to medical reasons. All of my school work has to be done over the phone and through the computer. I have such horrible hand writing that I end up typing 90% of my work. Until recently I had an old g3 iBook but I just sold it. I need to get a new computer for school and was wondering if apple or anyone offers deals to people in my position. I know about the educational discounts but is there anything else I could do. Any advice would be appreciated...

The only thing you'll find is the edu discount. Sorry.

Your best bet would be to find a 3rd party that might be willing to assist you in the purchase of a newer machine.

Good luck!

Ebay, or apples refurbished machines.
My ma got a 15 inch G4 for 1499 (the newest models)!
You might look into that.
