Alright, I have no programming experience in Cocoa but I'm done CS at uni and done some hobby coding in my spare time. I can pick up things pretty quickly.
So...I was wondering, if someone could tell me what kind of difficulty something like this would be, or even better, if something like this already exists:
I'd like a floating window/pane that can be toggled (preferably with a keyboard shortcut) to appear from the side of my screen to display the currently playing lyrics. I'd like it to update whenever the song changes much like Bowtie or the many lyrics widgets.
I've made an Applescript which displays the lyrics in a 'choose from list' dialog and activates via Butler KB shortcut, but this is intrusive, and doesn't gain focus.
Would anyone know/have anything similar to this? Any suggestions would be fantastic.
Thanks,
Sam.
