Problem with 1g imac

Hello,

I was given a first generation iMac, Blue, not sure on the MHZ, when it boots up a System error comes up

BUS error,

Temporarly restart and hold down the shift key to disable extensions.

I do that and the same error appears.

Does any one have any suggestions on how to get this running, i have tried to boot using the software restore.
