I recently installed Clamscan on my iMac, didnt like it, so I removed it....or thought I did. A few minutes ago, I opened iStat to check the Processes running, and there it was, Clamscan.
I opened the Applications Folder, and the program is not there. I did a Spotlight search for Clamscan and found lots of Document and Text files for the program (no application file). So...how do I get rid of this program and all the garbage it left behind when I dragged the application file into the trash?
Any ideas? Thanks.

Look on the web for an app called AppCleaner, next time you don't like an app you should delete it with AppCleaner. It will look all over the computer for related files and ask you to delete them to. Works for me.... cool

AppZapper is another option and one that I've used with excellent results.
