Flashed XFX 4870 1GB ZFWC "power cable not attached" and wierd blocky pattern

Using the ati flashing tool I flashed the XFX 4870 1GB ZFWC. When I start up a dialog shows up saying the cables are not connected, when in fact they are (I have double and triple checked). Also when I put the computer to sleep then wake it up a weird distorted blocky pattern appears and I have to restart the computer to fix the problem. Any suggestions to fixing these problems?

power cable warning is common on newer cards.

sometimes its a blocky pattern, sometimes the card dosent even display anything. In both cases I have to restart the computer.

I also have to XFX 1GB ZWFC version E.0 card. I experience all the same problem. The power cable no connected warning and same weird sleep problem (which I didn't discover until reading this post)

Any help?

After reading more (because in addition to this problem, i also have "distorted and blocky" problem when booting to windows.

Problem is solve once I flash the ROM in post #34 in the following page

Now everything is fine (well, except the power cable no connected message)
