who's the manufacturer of the 2tb hdd's in 27" iMacs ?

are they mostly western digital ?

My 2 TB hard drive is Hitachi. It is as quiet as can be.

if it doesnt crash, lol, Hitachi took over IBM storage, who was known notoriusly for the laptop Deathstar(Deskstar) drives and various others who failed constantly. :D Hopefully Hitachi has improved that, lol

my 1TB was a Seagate, which some have mentioned can be noisy, didn't have that issue, didn't care, I swapped it out for an Intel G2 X25M :D
