Major GF6800 Shipping Delay?

I hope this isnt a repost, I looked around and didn't find anything.

I ordered a GF6800 back in early July, and my order status said "estimated shipping: On or before 8/25/2004". Now that it is 8/25, the order status page updated and now says "On or before 10/29/2004".

I heard Mac users are real patient about delays. Got the 6800GT on my PC already. Mmmm... Doom 3 in max resolution.
