WTB: iBook or Ti Powerbook or Pismo for 500

Ok a very good friend of mine needs a laptop for school and she is looking into anything but has 500 and she wants to keep using mac. She has a begie G3 right now so she wants something better and the Pismo is upgradable so I know it will work for her. She is also interested in the Ti 400 or 500 G4 or an iBook. 600 or above on those but I am sure she would look at a 500. So maybe someone here can help me help her ^-^ Thanks guys!
