Does anybody know of a good Database design program available for OS X?

A co-worker is using DBDesigner 4 for Win XP, and it looks great.

I've been looking for something similar for OS X, but can't find anything. Does anybody here know of something similar?

Apple's FileMaker subsidiary develops the most popular database system for the Mac and the second most popular system on Windows. The quintessential databse system for the Mac is 4th Dimension. The system is a free download for education users.

Database question

To further this discussion, I want to take a database I created in Access (with forms and reports and such, no data yet) into something native for the mac - What should I use? The forms do a lot of workflow and calculations, and there is a fair amount of VB code in it, does anyone have any recommendations?

DbWrench will work on mac and will reverse engineer your MS Access database schema. But I don't know of any application that will migrate over the VB code in your Forms.

He probably would have appreciated your contribution more six years ago...

...when he actually posted the question! 😀
