Apple led the list of PC makers in the ACSI with a score of 81, making a 5 percent improvement for the second year in a row. Dell ranked second with a score of 79, a slight increase from last year. Gateway's mark jumped from 69 to 74.

Apple and Dell were only two points apart!?

I'm surprised, considering how much you hear people complain about Dell & their foreign tech support.

Theory: Apple customers have come to EXPECT more. If they had the same low standards as Dell customers, Apple would have a bigger point lead.

I wonder how dell got good marks ... they suck, and that's not just coming from a mac user. My work has a deal with dell and we get all our computers from them :( . At least now I'm on a linux project and have to work with HP's now.
