Hey all ... I just got my first MAC ... after weeks of waiting my order arrived today.

I have 1GB of RAM installed ... where should I buy RAM from? I need more for Video Editing with Final Cut Pro.

Thanks!

I've come across Ramjet ... heard of it? How good is their RAM?

I see that Crucial has something called "Ballistix 184-pin DIMM" ... does anyone have any knowledge or feedback on that type of RAM?

Thanks

ThanksMy understanding is that it is marginally faster; however, I've also read that you need a system with only that memory, or else it'll default to the lowest common denominator. Seems pricey to me....

Another vote here for Crucial.

You don't want the Ballistix line of memory. Its geared for high end PCs and people who are going to be doing overclocking and the like. Crucial's regular line will do just fine for you.
