I want an iMac 21.5'' but I've heard that the firewire ports are not that great, specially when used with firewire recording interfaces such as the Apogee Duet. They create a lot of RF interference.

Also, is the screen just as good as a 24'' LED Cinema Display?

I just bought the 27" iMac a week ago today, i'm using the digi 003 with pro tool 8.0.3 with a passive amount of plugins, and I am having absolutely no problems what so ever. the computer is quick, slick, the screen is amazing (i haven't played with the 21.5" yet..." I don't know if that hemps man but I haven't had any problems with it...
