09 Macpro refuses to sleep [Archive]

This is driving me insane.. Is there some kind of console log or whatever that can tell me what's preventing my 09 octo pro from sleeping? No matter what time setting I set it to it will not sleep. I usually only have linkinus and a couple of VM's open in VMware plus firefox and itunes.

Where do I begin?

Maybe this isn't the proper solution your after, but it will definitely make your Mac Pro sleep. Works flawless with my 08' Mac Pro.

I had the same issue with my 08 Mac Pro. Multiple repairs and almost a month talking to Mac Pro engineering at Applecare and they eventually replaced it.

Does the issue persist with a fresh user account / install?

Haven't tried that one yet.. I guess that's next.
