The ANS uses a nonstandard Mac OS ROM (Mac OS compatibility was disabled & "AIX support" was added) & IBM dropped support for the ANS after AIX 3.1.2 (iirc, it could have been 3.1 or 3.1.1... in any case it only lasted for two versions & its very old). A better idea would be to download YDL or Mandrake PPC & go from there. It'll be much better. On a side note my friend owns one. he's currently working on turning it into a G4 server.

actually, i prefer netbsd. nothing liking reading a bunch of documentation to finally get an os installed and then finding that the hd needs to be replaced.
