I might change my avatar to a smaller version of the one that made me a finalist - but some people say my current one is good. Plus the new one is almost 40k.

why do some of the animations not work properly in the gallery?Which one doesn't work for you? Does it work for you when you look at it in the first post of the thread where that member submitted it for the contest?

If the same animation fails for everyone, there may be something wrong with the gallery. If it works for some and not others, it could be that some web browsers get overwhelmed by so many animations on one page.

I'm glad to see that most of the avatars in the display above are still intact. Since some were links to personal web sites, not all of the links stay valid. And we were too lazy to copy each and every image so we could post a separate permanent copy.
