how long will the transfer take if i plug them in to a 100 network That depends on how big the file (files) is (are). For example, it could be DV, which is pretty darn big, or highly compressed DivX or MPEG which could take as little as 100MB for one hour (I wouldn't recommend that though, it would probably look like crap. 4x3, 2 fps ;))
