Just a heads up …
"Sonic & Knuckles (Sega Genesis, 1 player, 800 Wii Points): The fourth game in the classic series, this picks up where Sonic 3 left off and lets players take up the role of Knuckles, the spiky echidna. And if you've downloaded any of the Sonic the Hedgehog games from the Virtual Console, the lock-on ability of the old cartridge is intact, allowing you to play as Knuckles in any of the previous [two] games.”

More Sonic 2 and Sonic 3 goodness. I’m fairly sure Sonic 1 didn’t have the lock-on ability. Now, if Capcom would just make a Genesis controller for the Wii I would be all set.
