I'm just throwing this out there to see what, if anything, I can get offered. I have a brand new, never been opened, 15" Powerbook 1.5Ghz along with many extras that I am tempted to sell in order to buy a new G5 iMac. Here is what I have for sale; Note that I would like to sell this as one big setup rather than sell everything individualy...
PowerBook G4
15.2-inch TFT Display w/1280x854 resolution
1.5GHz PowerPC G4/512K L2 cache
512MB DDR333 SDRAM (ONE DIM... $100 upgrade!)
4x SuperDrive
80GB Ultra ATA/100
ATI Mobility Radeon 9700 (64MB DDR)
Backlit keyboard
Gigabit Ethernet
AirPort Extreme and Bluetooth Built in
FireWire 400 & 800
DVI & S-Video out
Panther (Mac OS X 10.3) and iLife '04 included
*Cost Brand New from Apple: $2599 without sales tax*
The extras I have to include are the following...
Apple Wireless mouse
Apple Keyboard
Harman/Kardon SoundSticks
Kensington MicroSaver Lock - Graphite
Griffin PowerMate
Griffin iCurve
*A total value of $450 without sales tax*
As I said before, I would like to sell everything as one big setup. I must reiterate that the computer is brand new and comes in a sealed box, but the extras are not new. All the extras both look and work great except for one of the "open-apple" butons on the Apple Keyboard does not work correctly so you'll have to use the one on the left side of the keyboard. All together you are looking at a total value of well over $3000 new from the Apple Store, and that is without sales tax or shipping. I am looking for around $2700 plus shipping... or, like always, best offer. I can except payment through either paypal or a check, but you'll have to wait for the check to clear first. If no one is interested in that price point ball park I'll just keep the machine. I have flawless feedback on ebay, user name is macmilk. Also, if you have any question please feel free to email me at macmilk@mac.com or IM me through iChat/AIM user name is moomilkmoo.
Thanks for looking,
Brandon
PS I can email you images of the unopened box and extras if so desired; just let me know.
*I've gotten a few emails asking about possible trades and I am open to that option. I am looking for either a 20" iMac, a newer power mac w/an apple lcd, or a 12" PowerBook with an apple lcd... cash could be used to balance out the trade on either end
