Using Boot Camp I installed Windows XP on my Quad Core i5 iMac. After all of the updates for XP were complete, I noted that there is no start-up sound for XP, and, XP can't find my Canon Pixma 5000 printer. The printer is plugged into the back of my Time Capsule and would receive signals wirelessly. The appropriate printer icon appears in the control panel but still there is no connection.

All system software is up to date on the Mac and PC sides.

No sound; can't find printer

Eric, I did just as suggested and downloaded Bonjour. The printer shows in the control panel yet it still doesn't work. As for the sound, I checked and rechecked the sound controls and still no sound. Thanks for taking the time to respond to my post.
