Hi,

I was using MetaX to tag a video with an age rating.

It's only five minutes long, but writing the tag has taken 15 minutes so far.

Does MetaX re-encode the video and not just add info to it?

Also, I thought Subler was meant to have the ability to tag age ratings to video? Was I mistaken because I can't find that option?

Regards

MetaX for the mac is being left in the dustbin. No updates. Some bugs never fixed.

Subler does have a ratings tag. If your video doesn't already contain it when you load it, you will need to go to the lower left hand corner, click on the drop-down box, and enable it. I think it is just called rating. Then you can choose the rating by clicking on the field.

Cheers.

Thanks Rich. I didn't notice that drop down box before. Subler has everything I need.

Cheers.

No problem. Glad to help.

While I have absolutely ZERO connection to the dev or the program, I am encouraging people who like this program to donate to the developer. This program is nearly there as a fully featured and STABLE replacement to MetaX. I'd hate to see this go down the same road.

Good luck.
