Hi there,
I am buying a mac classic and I want to know if it will go on the internet.

And will I be able to make screen shots and print documents on it.

And will I be able to upgrade to OS 9 or OS X?

And do I have to have the keyboard to turn it on?

Here is the computer: http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Apple-Macinto...ps_CV?hash=item2c5322ee41#ht_697wt_1167Thanks,

John.

If you look at the back of it you can plainly see the on and off switch.
As for the internet.. I don't think so.

ok for printing ,just remember you do not have usb on them ...internet ..with a classic ...why not ,just plain html sites should be fine,so will be emailing and office things , just dont expect it to play hd videos on youtube or other flash content ....

My first experience on the internet was with a Mac Classic. I connected using Prodigy and Compuserve, then Netscape software. Heady days !

I won't answer these already answered questions but pose something for thought. Getting TCP/IP onto it via anything else other than a dial-up RS-232 modem will be difficult (though technically not impossible).

I once played around with Asante's SCSI to Ethernet adapter. A cool idea for what I recall to be an "Ethernet challenged" Mac.

Similar devices are the Farallon EtherMac Microscsi Ethernet Adapter and Dayna SCSI Port.
