G4 upgrade cards

This might be the wrong place to post this but why aren't there any G4 upgrades for the MDD G4 Powermacs? There are for all the other G4s but the MDD and FW800 don't yet, and they have been around for almost 2 years now?

Just curious.
 
What would be the point? The MDD/FW800 topped out at 1.42GHz, the current top G4 upgrade card is 1.5GHz. There isn't really any point in upgrading a CPU unless you're close to doubling the clock speed so the market isn't there yet.

Wait until Freescale have their 2GHz dual core e600 out or something similar then I think you see viable upgrade options for the MDD/FW800 machines.
 
I was thinking more for those of us with the Single 1Ghz models to upgrade to at least a duel.
