Okay, my touch is 3 months old, 32 gb. Last night i was listning to music
then i noticed something strange. My iPod was on speaker while
plugged into earphones. And yes i tried it with different earphones
and its still on speaker. If you could help me, i would be greatfull
sorry for the bad english. I am norwegian

My iPod touch too having the exact same problem, since yday .. It's 32 gigs and 5 mnths old .. Any ideas ???

It is quite possible that the contact that detects the headphone being plugged into the jack is either dirty, or broken. I had something similar happen to my MacBook Pro earlier in the year. I simply took a small Q-Tip, dipped it in alcohol, and wiped the port as clean as possible (don't use too much liquid on the Q-Tip though). I let it dry for a bit (Alcohol has no water in it but just to be safe), tested it again, and it worked fine.
