Ink Preference Pane?

Unless I Have totally overlooked this before, I noticed there is an "Ink" preference pane. However, when I launch System Preferences, I don't see the control listed. Does anyone know what this is/does?

The ink preference pane is only there when you have a graphics tablet attached and the driver installed.

It has to do with handwriting recognition.
