It seems they are updating the Mac's faster now , so can we expect another update for the iMac in March? Would that be too much to expect since they updated the iMac's twice last year which was a shock.
Maybe the Mac Pro is the next one to update since the new Imac released in Oct 09 is close to the Mac pro 4 core.
Ideals? Rumors? Anything?

Are you kidding?
I would probably look at the buyer's guide and then of course this forum to get a fairly good feel for when something may be released.

The Buyer's Guide is the only kind of hint you may get.
Apple does not advertise or even publicize their releases and the schedule they have given to themselves.
But it is safe to assume, you'll know on the day the update happens.

I just hope for a mobility 5000 GPU, not really any reason to not put them in. Hopefully the 5870.

My guesses of future updates:
Late March: iPad launch
April-May: MBPs and Mac Pro
June: iPhone, iMac, MacBook, Mini
Nobody knows when it's coming but there are some educated guesses but only time will show us

Thats a good guess. I think it may go like this,
------------------- 2010 -----------------------------------
Late March: iPad Launch begins
Late April : iPad with 3G available
Summertime like June or July : MBP and/or Mac Pros
Sept or Oct : Mini and MacBook update or maybe iMac at this time.
------------------------------- 2011 --------------------------------
Late March: iMac update if not updated in 9/2010 or 10/2010
Late June : New iPhone comes out
Late Sept : Mac Pros will come out with 12 core? (wishful thinking)
Late Oct : 4G available???? (too Early?)
of course I may be way off.

It all comes down to what angle you use to base your guesses. I'm going to use the Apple.com homepage. Clearly, all of Februay and most if not all of March will highlight the iPad, so I don't expect MBP or any other product updates during this time. iPad is the first new product category for Apple in a while, so I predict they'll want to promote iPad for a couple of months on the Apple.com homepage.
When April hits, they'll update the MBPs with the latest and greatest Intel processor, and Mac Pro with a new design (finally) and new processor. They'll call it the "Pro" update and highlight both on the Apple.com homepage.
In May, they'll update the iMac with not much of a change on the high-end but with the 21.5" getting i3 and possibly i5. The MB will also see a slight update. It probably will be a "silent" update with nothing on the Apple.com homepage but a nice update message on the bottom of the screen.
I have no guesses on the MacBook Air or Mac Mini.
June you have iPhone and I suspect we'll finally see an Apple TV update with a new OS at WWDC.

OK, now please give me an educated guess on what a new 27 inch iMac would be like compared to the current (yes, I'm still not sure if I want to wait until new iMacs come out before I buy one).:)

My educated guess will be, the base spec core 2 duo will switch to i5 duo core and also a graphic card upgrade.

So nothing an average user like me should wait for. One more guess please: if I order a 27 inch imac tomorrow, will I get a good one or one of those yellow, flickering ones. ;)

As swee5420 said, probably i3 and i5 (Clarkdale) in lower end models and then same i5 and i7 in high-end. Also new GPUs, hopefully ATI Mobile Radeon 5xxx because nVidia's 4xxM series won't be out until late 2010 or 2011 (so much issues with desktop ones already and 300M series is old and slow compared to ATI 5xxx).
So nothing world changing, just speed bump

There are more and more good ones around so there's a great chance of getting a flawless ones but unfortunately, there are still defective ones
