Good question, I've often wondered that myself. Also, how do you... isn't a great name for a discussion as it doesn't say what it's about.

(On ifixit you name URLs like this: [www.whichappleproduct.co.uk|Which Apple Product])

Click the little link button above where you type. Add the URL and click ok then chane the bit between the "" to just have a name. The name will show up not the URL.

google (www.google.com) looks like *URL="www.google.com"]google[/URL*]

sorry should be leave the bit between the quotes. Obviously removing the stars!

Describe the link in your post, then highlight the description and click the link button http://forums.macrumors.com/images/editor/createlink.gif and paste the link there.

Tell us your problem, and be specific. What is happening to your machine?
What Mac OS X version and what Mac do you use, ... .

How long has this been happening? What changes were made just before this started?

What have you already tried?

Respond to all posted advice with details of what happened.

Be wary of the (very) occasional bad advice.

Be patient.

Be courteous.

The NOPARSE tag acts as a container for text that should not be parsed as VBCode.

Any VB codes like [B] or [QUOTE] in here will not be parsed

Technically, the opposite -- so you would see the second noparse. :)

Oh yes, I'm sure. It's early for me, but late for the day, and as I come first every day, the day comes second. But it is not really a day, it's more like the night, as I work in the dark hours (preferred to the ages of course) of the 24 hour period we assigned a long time ago to the circle of rotation.

If you want to save arn two bytes of disk space, omit the quotes. The Insert Link http://images.macrumors.com/vb/images/editor/createlink.gif tool puts them in but in fact they aren't needed.
