Apps?

Are there any offline apps that convert speech to text or read the text that we type out loud? thanks in advance:)

vox 3000 does text to speech, and dragon dictation does speech to text

i have got dragon dictation but when i open it, it say "no internet connection" so i think it is an online app that need internet connection.

That's right, Dragon doesn't do the translation on the iPod/iPhone. It transmits the spoken message to servers somewhere that do the translation, then send the text back to your device, so you need a data connection.
