G5 DVD Player Interference

I have a G5 Dual 2 Ghz running OSX 10.3.5.
When playing a DVD i get this green and white snow all over the picture??
Its like TV interference or static....

Has anyone else had this problem with their DVD drives?

Sounds like your CD is scratched or the MPEG decoder is corrupted.
