Is it dead (black) or stuck (green)? Or are you saying you have a dead green subpixel (thus tinting that pixel)?

If it's stuck, massaging it can be effective, or even running repeated patterns of changing colors. If it's dead, there's usually nothing you can do.

My understanding is that the dead / stuck pixel is on the CCD of he camera and thus showing up on the "film" and not just on the display. If it was on the display, yes, rubbing it gently would most likely work. As it seems to be on the CCD I can't think of an easy / user accessible way to doing this. It could very well be dust or something on the CCD sensor itself; or even a bad bit on the data lines from the CCD sensor to the processor. If it is under warrantee I would take it back to and get it replaced.
