MSN Applications For Mac!

Hey,

I have recently moved to Mac from PC and i have been searching up for Mac MSN Applications and i know a few popular ones are..
Adium
aMSN
Mercury Messenger
Mac Messenger
But as everyone has been complaining - some don't support webcam, nudges, PM's and Display picture problems.
Mercury Messenger did work with webcam i hear but now Mercury Messenger on Mac with MSN on Windows 7 are not compatible with each other using webcam..

Now why can't someone just make something like EXACTLY the same as MSN for Mac?
Same Features and everything?

I am currently using adium, but it doesn't support cam.

and please if you are going to comment stupid things off the topic please just get off this thread.

Welcome to Mac I guess... When I first switched to Mac I couldn't believe it either, but I guess there's nothing we can do for now - unfortunately MSN just sucks on Mac.

Yea, well i guess i will just stick with adium to chat to my friends.. because none of them have Macs they are all on PC..

And i will just use Skype for my video chatting

Yeah, you could alternatively also use Gtalk for video chatting, but you'd have to install the Gtalk plugin for your browser..

Well, i guess we all have different opinions on which IM services are best for us, i only use MSN because thats what all my mates use.

And does this adium plugin make webcams work for MSN ?
 
America has a fascination with AIM. As for the rest of the world, everyone uses MSN. Also, because the majority of friends and family use PCs, asking them to grab extra plugins or whatnot is kind've out of the question. Skype's an alternative, I suppose and I'm glad to say it's becoming more frequently used.


Still can't believe webcam isn't supported properly on Mac MSN, it's just weird that after all these years, they still haven't resolved what would seem like a minor issue. Using my PC only until some new Macs come out, so it's gonna be strange to suddenly have that as an issue.

ive had adium and got the cam working for mac. that was a couple years ago when msn was still used by ppl in this world.

Microsoft's been slow on this for years. It's obviously just not a high priority for them, and there's no reason it should be.
