A question I have...
I am using Firefox for my web browsing on my 27' iMAC. Why do some webpages (like this one) stretch/fit across the entire width of the monitor screen and some only use 1/3 of the page?
I keep zooming in on the text but it still looks off?
Is it how the web page maker designed the page?
Thanks,
Rob

You can do both, just depends on how the designer/site owner wants it.

Okay so it's nothing that I haven't set properly?
I thought all webpages (or monitors for that matter) would automatically rescale/resize things.....

Not necessarily. The webdesigner can set many display types by fixing a width by % of the browser or number of pixels, etc. That's one of the reasons why I don't use a full screen browser ever since I got my first 20" widescreen monitor. The space is usually wasted dead space.

Same. I don't know why web developers aren't using % wisely. It's rather annoying. Although personally I feel like using a browser in full screen on a large, wide screen computer is a waste :)
I'm wondering if there may be some plugin for firefox that lets you make these changes to the web pages on the fly and automatically to get proper full screen... You could probably do some searching.
