i am planning to buy a 3.06GHz Intel Core 2 Duo, 4g ram iMac. i want to know if it is good for using iphone sdk and programming in other langauge?

Mac pro is Apple's top of the range performance workstation machines, while mac mini is the bottom of the range introductory machines.

The iMac will be a good iPhone dev machine.

I use a 2009 dual proc for Linux dev running 3-4 virtual machines at once. The iMac, any version, would struggle.

Even a Mac mini is powerful enough for iPhone SDK development.
