What a crock. It sounds like another scheme to capitalize on current events.

what's interesting is that these responses are EXACTLY what I thought would crop up. That's not a shot, nor intended in a bad way - just interesting that I was right on the money.

Yeah - I think it's the same deal everyone else gets, pretty much.

Veterens have always had these benifits for free through the Government Discount link at the Apple Store on-line and at Apple Stores. Not sure the discount is any different, but if you read the footnote, the free tech support is nothing more than the 1 year tech support that everyone gets veteren or not.

This is not an apple site. Is this some kind of scam????

If you look in the LH sidebar, it seems that every computer company is "saluting the veterans".

Seems to be more through this VertransOnline place than Apple, but I'm sure they are facilitating them. It's still cool of Apple, whether capitalizing on current events or not.

Wow, same deal everyone gets! Cool!

If you are not a student, developer, etc, then you don't get the 6-17% discount , nor does anyone get free shipping that I am aware of.

How is this the same deal??
