ipod classic reformatting help

Hi,

I use my ipod classic 80 GB with my macbook. I have enabled disk usage in my ipod, have set manually manage music and videos.

Last time i was visiting my friend, and i had some of files to be transferred to windows pc. But itunes popped up and asked me to reformat my ipod. I did not do reformatting that time. But now i want to change my ipod format so that i can use it both in mac and windows without any problem. How can i do that in mac?
