Hey, guys! I have a problem involving my hi-fi headphones (most notably my Audio-Technica studio phones) and my cased Ipod Classic 80GB and Iphone 2G 8GB.

I bought cases for both (so I can keep them safe from scratches and the like), but the thing is, the "fat" end on my headphones ends up getting stuck halfway, so I can't really listen to my music well :(

Can you guys recommend a good pair of fairly high-quality cans (no earbuds, please) in the $50-60 range that have ends "skinny" enough to fit in my Ipods? If not, can you at least give me some steps I can take to solve this some other way?

Thanks in advance, everyone! I really appreciate it!

Just buy an adaptor? Fairly sure if you search iPhone 2G Headphone adapter or similar you will find one, just makes it fit.

A work around you could do is buy a stereo mini to one quarter inch adapter (like this (http://www.headphone.com/accessories/stereo-mini-to-one-quarter-inch-adapter.php) one) and then a quarter to mini that fits (like this (http://www.headphone.com/accessories/grado-quarter-to-eighth-inch-plug-adapter.php)), and that way you can avoid buying new headphones.

But if you prefer new headphones I would recommend a portable pair like Sennheiser PX200-2 (just as a little note, they are a lot better than the first version of the PX200), full size I can't remember now one with a "skinny" connector.

Those are the ones I have, right down to the Grado brand. And they still don't fit
